Radiant Chapters Board
Board VP: Julie Murphy
Julie Murphy is the Vice President of our Board of Directors. A 30+ year marketing veteran, she brings a wealth of marketing strategy and brand and product management experience to our team. She finds that storytelling and story listening are the best ways to engage with people, regardless of whether you’re trying to educate, sell, or entertain those people.
Julie earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Miami University, and her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Originally from Ohio, she’s lived in Charlotte since 1986.
Commitment Statement
I’m a lifelong reader and a voracious consumer of stories. I feel that, regardless of an individual’s circumstances and the reasons people are different from others, we can all connect on some level by finding common ground in our stories.
Fabi Preslar, the founder of Radiant Chapters, was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Charlotte in 1986. We connected immediately and found joy, friendship, and support that has spanned nearly four decades. Despite being in adjacent professional fields, we had never had the opportunity to work together. When Fabi asked me if I knew anyone who would like to join the board of RCC, I immediately said, “Me!”. I’m so excited to help her build this amazing community and help share other’s stories.
Board Secretary: Keisha A. Rivers
As a transformational leader, speaker, and strategist, Keisha brings nearly 30 years of experience in organizational development and change leadership to the Radiant Chapters mission. She is the Chief Change Officer of The KARS Group LTD and founder of The KARS Institute, she helps individuals and organizations thrive through change. She is also the author of Equipped for Change™ and host of the Equipped 4 Change™ podcast. Recognized among the “50 Most Influential Women” by the Mecklenburg Times and as an “Enterprising Woman of the Year”, Keisha is passionate about empowering others to own their stories and grow through transformation.

I believe stories are among the most powerful tools we have for creating change. Radiant Chapters Collective gives voice to those whose journeys carry deep wisdom and healing. I joined this board because I believe in helping people do the inner work, own their story, and step fully into their impact. These books aren’t just words on a page—they’re tools for education, healing, and legacy. I’m proud to support this mission and the radiant lives it lifts.
Board Engagement Chair: Danielle Fletcher
Danielle Fletcher is a strategic event consultant, retreat expert, and founder of The Retreat CEO, a luxury retreat and experience design company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and organizations craft transformational experiences. With over 20 years of expertise in global event strategy, Danielle blends sophisticated planning with deep emotional intelligence, creating spaces where people feel seen, empowered, and inspired. She lives each intention, faith, and a fierce belief in the power of human connection.

As a spiritual woman and creative at heart, I feel called to help others share their stories with the world. This board gives me the opportunity to serve alongside women I admire and help support and uplift voices that might otherwise go unheard. Founder: Fabi Preslar
Fabi Preslar is the Founder and President of Radiant Chapters Collective. She is also the founder of SPARK Publications, where for over 27 years she has helped business owners, thought leaders, and creatives publish award-winning nonfiction books and magazines. Through this work, she witnessed the life-changing power of storytelling—especially for those whose voices often go unheard. She is the author of three nonfiction books and journals, and a frequent speaker on storytelling, entrepreneurship, and legacy building. Named among FOLIO magazine’s: Top Women in Media and NAWBO Charlotte’s Woman Business Owner of the Year, Fabi brings soulful leadership, deep publishing expertise, and a lifelong passion for helping others share their truth.

Through decades of publishing books for clients who could afford the process, I kept meeting incredible individuals whose stories carried power, wisdom, and heart—but lacked access to share them fully. These stories didn’t just deserve to be told—they needed to be shared to help others grow, heal, and feel seen. Radiant Chapters exists to give those voices a platform—and the support they need to turn personal experience into lasting legacy and impact.
